Cloud 9 are working with a major player in the packaging arena who are looking to appoint a Procurement Manager for either the Anglia or Midlands region. Using your experience and knowledge you will provide solutions and source the exact products for thebest price for all our client's customers, new and existing. This is a varied role with a broad range of responsibilities that will see you managing various projects. **The Role, Responsibilities & Skills**

Supporting the National Accounts Team, as well as the Ecommerce and Retail sectors you will manage, develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to secure the lowest price of materials and products without compromising the highstandard of service and delivery of the customers brief.

You will work closely with respective directors to contribute to brainstorming proposals and projects for new business, liaise with procurement teams and oversee all purchases ensuring they are made at low-cost.
- You will have a minimum of 2 years' packaging experience within corrugated, flexible films, design or packaging solutions
- You will have a working knowledge of national sales and accounts
- You will have excellent communication, negotiation and listening skills to ensure a full understanding of design and project processes
- You will have strong management and leadership skills
- You will oversee purchasing transactions
- You are able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards and healthy relationships
- You are ambitious with a desire to progress within the industry
- You will hold a UK Driving Licence as there will be occasional travel to the site you are not based at as and when required

**Remuneration**

A basic salary of between £45k to £50k is offered, however, this is negotiable dependent upon experience.
