We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting their local community to help us coordinate our wellbeing programme, delivering holistic support to anyone whose life has been impacted by illness. This includes those who are living with a life limiting illness, those caring for someone who has a life limiting illness, or those who are bereaved.

Our wellbeing initiative offers physical, emotional, spiritual and social support in a welcoming and supportive environment through an informal drop in for a cup of tea and chat, to complementary therapies, structured support groups, counselling and social activities.

**Position**: Well-Being Coordinator

**Location**:Lymington, Hampshire.

**Hours**: 30 hours per week (Ideally worked over 4 or 5 days)

**Salary** £20,800pa (£26.000 FTE)

**About the role**:
Supporting and managing our team of volunteers in providing wellbeing services
- Working together with internal colleagues and teams to meet the needs of the service users.
- Collaborating with our community partners and stakeholders to identify and develop, opportunities and support.
- Acting as an ambassador for Oakhaven and the services we can provide to our community.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone with
- Great organisation skills with a positive and motivated approach to new ideas and projects.
- The ability to manage your time well and able to respond and adapt to the changing needs of the service.
- A positive, compassionate and empathic nature with an interest in wellbeing and community initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to help support individuals in distress.
- A passion to support, train and guide our wonderful volunteers.

Oakhaven Hospice serves the community of the New Forest, providing in-patient, day hospice and community care for patients with life limiting illnesses and support to their families/carers.
