**We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Assistants to join our new Garden Centre Department in **Widnes**

**This is a permanent part time role, offering 30 hours a week **and will require the flexibility to work shifts in the daytime, evenings and at weekends.**

**As a Garden Centre Assistant, you** will be working within the plant sales team, providing** great product availability, with clear pricing and assisting customers to ensure a great overall shopping experience.**

**You will also**:

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of excellent customer service and store standards
- Assist customers with purchases
- Conduct daily quality checks of plants
- Ensure all plants are cared for and maintained
- General housekeeping, stock rotation, merchandising
- Provide product advice to customers and colleagues

**It is essential that applicants have the following**:

- Good knowledge of horticulture, plant requirements and care
- A passion for both plants and retail
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- A flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Health and Safety awareness

**_Experience of working in a garden centre or garden department within a large retail store is also desirable._**
