Job Responsibilities:

- Managing the planning and successful delivery of a complex digital transformation Programme of works within Healthcare Informatics to support and enable the use of digital technologies and solutions
- Successfully delivering the required outcomes, including the establishment of appropriate governance and assurance, monitoring progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring the business readiness for change
- Overseeing and managing Project Managers and Project Support Officers
- Monitoring the progress of projects against plans and ensuring that the required testing is complete
- Building strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and managing conflicts, where required
- Chairing and Co-Ordinating Programme Boards, Project Boards, Project meetings and other communications with internal and external stakeholders

Essential Experience:

- At least 3-5 years’ experience within Programme Management of IM&T projects, ideally in a NHS setting
- Ability to influence change and gain commitment from required parties
- Capability to plan a broad range of complex projects under a Programme over short, medium, and long-term timeframes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to use project and programme management methodologies/techniques/tools, such as PRINCE 2
