There are 7 Radiology Departments across United Lincolnshire Hospital's NHS Trust, offering MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Dexa, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional services.
We perform over 300k examinations per year providing a 24 hour service for emergency procedures. The departments carry out a wide range of procedures including plain film radiography, barium studies, A/E Trauma, IVU’s, theatre, dental and interventional fluoroscopy.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as a Radiology Secretary within the Radiology Department at Pilgrim Hospital, on a one year fixed term contract.
The Radiology Department is a very busy front line department accessed by all departments and wards within the hospital and also referrals from other hospitals, GP surgeries, Private and Category II patients.
Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and it can make a positive, real difference to the patient experience. Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources.
The Radiology Secretary role is to assist and support the Interventional Coordinators, Pan-Trust Workflow Coordinator and Radiology Speciality Coordinators to enhance imaging and reporting workflow, supporting the achievement of nationally and local agreed radiology standards. The post holder will also undertake routine bookings and reception duties as required.
Excellent communication skills are required, together with knowledge of medical terminology, previous secretarial experience and proficient use of software packages relevant to the post.
**What we’re looking for**:
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player with good written and oral communication. There is a requirement for applicants to have GCSE English and Maths, grades A-C (or equivalent).
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate a flexible approach to working; both in a team and on your own initiative.
Previous NHS experience and knowledge of Medway/ Careflow and CRIS systems is essential. Knowledge of NHS targets is also required.
There will also be a requirement for the successful applicant to provide cover on the Radiology Reception and to cover for the Speciality Coordinators / Interventional Coordinators during periods of leave.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
