**Job overview**:
**Successful applicants will be invited to an assessment day at Fibre Hub, Pool, Redruth on 20th January 2023.**

We have vacancies on our wards at Longreach House. There are 3 wards here which have 15 beds each, which are for people in acute mental health crisis within the West of Cornwall.

All the wards provide care, treatment and support to any person experiencing mental illness following an admission. Facilities available include access to a gym, supported kitchen, activity space and a garden.

You could be part of this multi-disciplinary team, working to bring innovative, quality solutions to support people with mental health conditions. You could work with our specialist team to look for future models and service developments to change care across Cornwall and Isles of Scilly in line with the 5 year forward view.

These are full time posts working 37.5 hours per week, both day and night shift working.

**Main duties of the job**:

- To Support the delivery of care needs by carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- To contribute to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor.
- As part of a team, provide high quality mental health care to the service users
- To promote recovery.
- To do all the above in a manner that maintains safety for all.
- To assist in service and good practice developments.
