**Job Summary/Job Purpose**:
This NHS trust has a large and complex ICT service that underpins the delivery of digital health care. ICT supports around 14,000 users and over 200 services across more than 120 sites. The adoption and expectations placed upon digital healthcare are expectedto grow substantially over the next 5 years as the health board embraces mobility both in primary and secondary care settings.

The post holder will report to the ICT Senior Procurement Officer and be part of a busy team. Providing administrative support in the specific areas of ICT Procurement, finance, software and hardware asset management as well as other general areas. In additionit will be expected that the post holder will be key in providing operational and managerial reporting information for ICT and the Informatics division.

The role will work closely with the ICT Business Support Manager and ICT Senior Procurement Officer and will gather, collate, analyse and present this data to ICT and Informatics. This role assists with preparing financial management, will maintain databasesincluding contracts, asset and software management. The role will be a key function in coordinating and planning of the Informatics function in order to assist Heads of Service to deliver the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Integrated Medium Term Plan.

The post holder will be an active member of the Business Support team and contribute towards the overall management and planning of the service.

The post holder will be expected to deputise for the ICT Senior Procurement officer managing a team of ICT procurement/administration staff, support their development and mentoring.

You will need be an excellent communicator and influencer, allowing you to build and maintain strong relationships within ICT and Informatics and attend local meetings as required.
