**Key Responsibilities**
- Weekly payroll using SAGE payroll
- Assisting with month end accounts
- Maintaining purchase ledger and sales ledger using SAGE
- Reconciling Supplier statements
- Credit card reconciliations
- Corresponding with Customers & Suppliers
- Support of audit processes
- Daily data entry from bespoke software reports
- Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
- With the Managing Director, review and improve company procedures and systems and develop more effective approaches to management information gathering.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- An Accountancy/Finance or similar degree with a strong interest in building a long term career in Accounts
- A minimum of 1 year’s accounts experience in a busy environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys dealing with people and attending and contributing to weekly management meetings
- Excellent IT skills and Sage proficient
- Able to work closely with external Accountant to enable the smooth running of the Finance Function
- Enjoys working in a busy, varied environment
- Looking for a long term career with a growing company with the ability to take on extra responsibility as the role expands in the future
- Interested in continuous improvement and development of systems and processes.
