**TEACHING ASSISTANT 1:1**

**5 days per week, Monday to Friday**

**9:00am-3:00pm Term time plus training days**

**Grade 3 Point 6 - £15,001 per annum**

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible teaching assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with social interaction and communication difficulties. The role is 25 hours per week **to start as soon as possible **and is term time plus non-contact days.

The role will involve working with the pupil to meet their targets within the classroom environment and individually, delivering a range of approaches and interventions to support the specific needs of the pupil.

We are looking for a TA who:

- Has experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- Has the experience to organise and deliver personalised intervention sessions.
- Has experience in de-escalation strategies and behaviour management.
- Has excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills at GCSE Grade 4 level or equivalent.
- Understands how children learn to support progress.
- Works effectively as part of a team, including communicating with outside agencies.
- Knowledge of working in a KS1 classroom environment would be beneficial.
