1-1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Spalding
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £80 - £90 per day

GSL Education are looking for a compassionate 1-1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a student in a primary school in Spalding starting September 2024. This role involves working closely with a student to enhance their learning experience and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a student with specific learning needs.
  • Assist with academic tasks and help manage any behavioural challenges.
  • Implement strategies outlined in the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Encourage the student’s engagement and participation in classroom activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs is preferred.
  • Strong patience, empathy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build a positive rapport with the student and school staff.
  • Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
