Job Introduction
**About the Role**

We have a great new job opportunity to join our busy helpdesk team in Harrogate. As a IT Helpdesk Support Co-ordinator you will be required to provide excellent customer service and technical support to local and remote locations with our various business divisions across the UK.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all calls are logged and incidents updated on a daily basis.
- Actively manage ticket system queues to chase resolution and reduce ageing tickets to agreed SLAs.
- Co-coordinating with users within the business in varying roles and third party support for externally managed systems to gain speedy resolutions when required.
- Monitor and escalate progress as appropriate to the severity of the issue and according to the SLA (where applicable).
- Expanding on and create guides and frequently asked questions knowledge lists for our user base to use from the self-service portal
- Contributing to the internal helpdesk team documentation is up to date and current.
- Providing additional support on projects with senior members of the team

Ideally you should have previous experience of customer care in an IT helpdesk function and excellent telephone communication skills when working with our internal customers. As a team, we work to provide a swift and efficient turnaround and challenge ourselves to continuous improvement. A positive and can do approach is essential

- Willingness to learn and build on existing knowledge
- LAN/WAN technologies
- Preferably A+ Qualified
- Preferably Network+ Qualified
