As part of our business expansion we are looking for an experienced pipe fitter to join our team. We are a well established engineering company based in Chesterfield and carry out Pipe Installations on sites throughout the UK and Europe.

**Person Specification**

*Experienced Mechanical Pipe Fitter with experience in flanged, coupling, fabricated pipework and screwed/socketed.

*Competent understanding connections to pumps, valves and compressors

*Competent at working at heights

*Ability to install suitable brackets and fixings for support of pipework including Unistrut, and specially designed fabricated brackets.

*Able to work away from home at various sites throughout the UK

*Competent at measuring and planning multiple pipe routes through factories from site visits and having a good understanding of reading schematic diagrams and complex engineering drawings.

*Strong experience with equipment and machinery installations

*Confident with liaising directly with end customers professionally and competently

*Positive and friendly attitude with a great ability to work well as a team

*Keen eye for detail with the ability ensure an installation looks tidy and professional

*Strong attention to detail

*Competent and professional when liaising with customers and discussing and understanding their requirements

*High quality of workmanship with a keen eye for detail

*IPAF 3a and 3b and Passport to Safety preferred but training offered

*Full UK Driving License essential

All travel and expenses are covered.

Excellent rates of pay

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Pipefitting: 5 years (preferred)

Work Location: One location
