**Salary**: £21,197 with progression to £22,662 per annum

Estates & Facilities (recent winners of the Times Higher Estates Team of the Year award) are a very large multidisciplinary team that look after the development, maintenance, safety and security of over 150 buildings across various sites including a wide variety of world class teaching and research facilities, a range of diverse accommodation for over 3500 students across three student villages as well as caring for our beautifully landscaped grounds. We are also the team at the University responsible for catered halls, great food and drink, conferences and events.

We are looking for someone to assist our Disciplinary Case Co-ordinator and Disciplinary Casework Assistant to administer the Accommodation Service’s student disciplinary process resulting from behavioural misconduct in our accommodation.

We require someone that can manage a high-volume workload with great attention to detail and works well under pressure.

Key Attributes
You will be expected to handle a diverse array of student disciplinary casework.
This role requires excellent administration skills along with planning and organising skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload.

Key Accountabilities Assist in implementation of University procedures for managing student casework - including case work for disciplinary investigations and appeals ensuring all required information is obtained and cases are resolved promptly Log all new casework, ensuring that the database is updated, acknowledgements and document requests are sent, to provide an effective service to students Prepare correspondence for case work, using available templates, ensuring that letters are written promptly and to a high standard of accuracy Provide administrative support for student case work investigation meetings, ensuring that accurate minutes are recorded and produced within required timescales Proactively review the open case log to ensure that all query records are resolved and that accurate statistics can be produced at all times Manage and maintain paper and electronic records for students, especially for case work, ensuring that all current and archive records are accurate and can be accessed in an efficient manner
Ensure that personal enquiries from students or their representatives are handled in an efficient and helpful manner, with regard to data protection protocols
You may from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager. You are required to follow all University policies and procedures at all times and take account of University guidance. You will be required to participate in activities relating to student arrival and departure weekends as well as open and applicant days (these can vary depending on semester dates)
