Due to a secondment**, we have a 12 month fixed term, full-time, HR Advisor **position available here at Dalkia Facilities.

**Location**
- You'll be ideally located South West/South/South East Birmingham with easy access to the M42/M5
- You'll typically work; 2 days from home, 1 day at our office by the NEC and 2 days per week travelling to sites. Regular travel includes along the M5 corridor (Gloucester, Bristol, Bridgwater, Exeter) and London. Very occasional travel to Suffolk, Hove, North East and Glasgow
- Generous car allowance provided

**Hours**
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

**The Role**

You'll be a visible, trusted Advisor, delivering a generalist HR service to operational management teams covering a Nationwide headcount of c.350, comprising of colleagues carrying out; cleaning, security, portering, maintenance engineering, reception and administration duties.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Working across the full HR life cycle, including TUPE
- Providing consistent, timely and proactive HR advice and guidance to operational managers and employees
- Coaching managers on a 1:1 basis to develop management skills and enhance team performance
- Developing effective working relationships with operational managers, the wider HR team and support functions
- Completing employee correspondence all to a high level of accuracy
- Compiling regular HR reports
- Delivering people management training (in person and online)
- Delivering HR projects within Facilities and working on group level projects
- Contributing to new initiatives

**To be successful in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Generalist, operational HR advisory experience - ideally in a multi-site environment
- Full, UK Driving Licence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/ PowerPoint and HR/Learning Management systems
