**Finance Executive - Group Finance & Tax**

**Raynes Park (2 days office, 3 days home)**

**to £40,000**

This is an excellent opportunity to join the finance & tax team of a leading recruitment company with offices nationwide.We are looking for an ambitious Finance Executive looking to gain exposure to both financial and commercial issues and developing expertisein these areas.You will be able to contribute to the compliance, financial dynamics and business strategy of the group and have an impact on these.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- provide support to group finance in the production of periodic management accounts and annual financial statements
- provide support to group tax in the management of the group's tax returns, oversight of evolving tax issues and preparation of year end tax notes.
- liaising with key internal stakeholders and external parties i.e. advisors, auditors and HMRC
- assist with wider group responsibilities including treasury, insurance and pensions

This is an ideal role for someone studying towards ACA/CTA/ACCA/CIMA or relevant qualification with previous experience in accounting/tax practice or providing in-house accounting/tax advice.You will be pro-active in nature, an enthusiastic team playerand a confident communicator, able to effectively build relationships with the wider group in an effective and professional manner. You will have excellent Excel skills along with technical knowledge of tax legislation, tax systems and processes and financialaccounting.
