- 17 August 2023, 05:00 PM**We have an excellent opportunity in our Climate Change Section for a Programme Assistant.**

The Climate Change Section focuses on strengthening the resilience of Commonwealth countries to the negative impacts of climate change. The Programme Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial assistance to ensure the smooth running of the Climate Change Section office and programmes. This assistance includes tasks related to programme delivery (meetings, events, workshops etc), reports, filing systems, financial transactions, correspondence, and travel arrangements. The job may include occasional overseas travel.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need a relevant qualification in administration, event management or similar. You will need at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with an international element..You will need to have the ability to manage financial transaction processing and you will need to have strong oral and written communication skills.
