**Great benefits**:
6 month FTC (fixed term contract): £26,000

**Role Overview**

We’re currently looking for someone to join our Corporate Benefits team as a Group Risk Specialist. In this role you will work closely with 2-3 Group Risk Consultants, supporting them with any Group Risk related administration (quotes, policies, claims, queries). This role is central to the continued growth and success of our broking team.

**Responsibilities**
- Understand and work within Corporate Benefits Compliance procedures at all times
- Uphold Corporate Benefits ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ ethics in all dealings with clients
- Ensure Benefex data protection policy is always adhered to
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Benefex systems and processes
- Maintain the security of the premises and the data held within it and to ensure that any data processed is completed in secure environment in accordance with the Information Security Policy and associated documents
- **Invoicing and Accounts**:

- Request deposit premiums, reconcile accounts
- Chase premiums within agreed deadlines
- **Underwriting**:

- Liaise with provider and client to identify and manage underwriting requirements
- **Claims**:

- Death claims processing (Group Life)
- Disability Claims (Income Protection, Critical Illness)
- **Market Reviews**:

- Request quotations
- Chase insurers for terms
- Draft broking reports for the Consultants
- **Other**:

- Ensure all scheme documentation in place for new business and renewals
- Ensure that Corporate Benefits Trackers are kept up to date Request/check/issue policy documents

**What are we looking for?**
- **Minimum 1-year administratio**n** experience dealing within an IFA, Employee Benefit Consultancy, or provider environment.
- **Knowledge of Group Risk Schemes** (Group Life, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Travel Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance)
- Team player
- Able to use initiative
- Adaptable
- Desire to learn and develop
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Good Analytical skills
- Good excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- First class time management skills - able to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills - will be liaising with both providers and clients

Nice to have experience, knowledge of:

- Healthcare (Group PMI, Health Cash Plans, Dental Insurance and Health Screening)
- Flex benefits
- GR1 and/or IF7 and desire to progress with professional qualifications
- Experience dealing with large corporate schemes
