**St Luke's Hospice are a local charity providing compassionate care to people whose illnesses are no longer curable. We promote dignity in dying and empower people to make the choices they want, from the moment they are diagnosed.**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for e-commerce, looking to make an impact in a charity with a meaningful cause. Based in the St Luke's Hospice e-commerce team.

**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing our online store by processing orders, managing inventory, and updating product listings.
- Conduct regular website checks to ensure functionality, accuracy, and user-friendliness.
- Liaise with suppliers and partners to ensure timely product deliveries and updates.
- Analyse sales data and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Contribute to the development and execution of promotional activities and sales events.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

**Salary and Contract**:
**Salary**: £22,369.35 per annum
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
**Location**: Basildon Business Centre, Bentalls, Pipps Hill, Basildon SS14 3FT (Free on-site parking)

- Previous experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with content management systems and digital marketing tools.
- An understanding of charity retail
- Knowledge of antiques/ specialist / higher value goods/fashion brands
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics.
