Corporate Facilities Officer
The Facilities Management service at Canterbury City Council is looking for a dedicated and hard working individual with experience in managing a soft FM service to join our team.
We are a can-do team that works hard to support the organisation and provide a safe and comfortable working environment for our staff, visitors and tenants in our operational buildings.
You will be managing a small team of dedicated caretakers working across a number of buildings delivering a range of council services.
You will need to be an effective communicator used to dealing with employees, visitors, contractors and other stakeholders.
You will be involved in managing soft FM contracts, liaising with contractors and assisting with contract tenders when required.
You will need to ensure the buildings comply with Health and Safety legislation working alongside the Corporate Health and Safety Manager.
This is a varied and exciting job role which will be part of relocation to our new offices in the City Centre later this year.
