Almond villas Blackburn have three residential services and a community after support service.

We provide specialist rehabilitation support to individuals with mental health issues, and Almond villas has many interesting characters who would love to get to know you if you share our values. You would work in a close team that understands each person’s needs and provides a meaningful contribution to their lives.

As a key worker you will be required to have previous experience working with and updating recovery plans and will be overseeing the rehabilitation journey with three named residents. If you don’t already have NVQ/ QCF level 3, we will support you to start it within your first 6 months with us.

**Who are we looking for?**

- Passionate about promoting person-centred care and working in a rehabilitative way
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work alone and part of a supportive team
- Experience of leadership desirable
- NVQ/ QCF Level 3 or willing to complete.
- Optional - Individuals with a passion for an activity they would like to share with our residents e.g. gardening, music, dance, art, cooking, writing etc.

Some of the **Key Responsibilities **include:

- To provide the highest standard of support for our residents
- Promote independence and follow rehabilitation care planning to promote independence in a person centred, individualistic manner
- Provide emotional support and develop trusting relationships with our residents
- Supporting residents to access appointments in the community when required
- Have a sound understanding of rehabilitation and individual needs

**As a key worker you will be expected to work alternate weekends and one sleep
- in per week.**
