Health and Wellbeing Assistant

Rangeford villages develops & operates retirement villages for people aged over 60. As part of this exciting new opening, you will be joining a friendly & professional team who are passionate about delivering incredible hospitality and support our vision to enable our residents to live their lives independently and with purpose & fulfillment.
**Shift Pattern: 18 hours per week, Tuesday and Friday (preferably 9.00 to 17.00 with a 30 minute unpaid break) and Saturday morning 9.00 to 12.00.**

**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a leisure or spa facility
- Qualified to level 3 Personal trainer
- A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent personal presentation standards
- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
**Responsibilities**
- working with residents to ensure that they are using the facilities in a safe manner, providing gym/spa inductions
- providing exercises and instruction advice and programmes
- swimming pool maintenance, chemical pool testing and weekly backwash to ensure it is operating within the required safety guidelines
- assist in ensuring that there are a variety of fitness classes available for residents, completing fitness assessments and delivering classes where qualified
- ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, clean well maintained environment
- maintaining the cleanliness of the poolside, steam and sauna and gym.
**Due to the nature of the environment applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check, paid for by us.**
