About the role
The Client Money and Assets Reconciliations teams work in a fast-paced friendly environment where they’re charged with giving clients the certainty that their cash is secure at all times. We are looking for a new team member who can excel, whether working as part of a dedicated thriving team or on solo projects, with a desire to influence internal change in an ever-evolving regulatory climate. The role is a mixture of operational and regulatory focus which can provide a varied and interesting role for the right individual.
- KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of cash and stock reconciliations in compliance with CASS regulation.-
- Collaborate with other departments to drive the prompt resolution of any discrepancies found.-
- Compile and submit regular CMAR returns to the FCA.-
- Monitor daily transaction reporting in line with MiFID II requirements.-
- Contribute to ensuring all relevant controls are robust, operated effectively and fully documented.PERSON SPECIFICATION
- ESSENTIAL to be considered for a Senior Associate Position
- QUALIFICATIONS- A levels (or equivalent)- KNOWLEDGE- Computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Excel-
- In-depth knowledge of typical investment platform products and services-
- Understanding of FCA and CASS regulations- EXPERIENCE- Financial Services Experience-
- 1+ year of CASS Client Money and/or Asset Reconciliations Experience- SKILLS- Excellent communication skills-
- Excellent written and numeracy skills-
- Ability to prioritise own workload-

- QUALIFICATIONS- Educated to degree level 2.1 or above-
- Accounting qualifications/CISI IOC CASS qualification- KNOWLEDGE- Experience with Microsoft Office and using in-house systems such as BrokerFocus and RecApp-
- In depth knowledge of CASS 6 and CASS 7 regulations- EXPERIENCE- 2+ years of Client Money and/or Asset Reconciliations Experience-
- Experience of dealing with clients, responding to queries and providing exceptional client service-
- Experience of representing your area on the delivery of projects and initiatives-
- Experience of leading a team- SKILLS- Coaching / being a role model-
