**Having successfully secured a pipeline of work across both Architectural & Re:Purpose Projects into 2024/25, we are now seeking to recruit a talented Façade Designer.**

We have offices in Ballymena and Lurgan - the position would suit either location

**About The Role**

**Role Summary**
- Ensure quality is delivered for design excellence, compliance to contract specification and our own internal design standards - strive to ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and on brief
- Produce working drawings/design in accordance with the specifications received from the client and according to program and client expectations
- Attend handover meetings to review and discuss the project, identifying design requirements including clarification of the scope of works.
- Develop and maintain the ViewPoint design file
- Liaise directly with the appropriate representatives to identify and agree all variations between the client specifications/drawings and the tender documents.
- Submit designs for internal review and discussion and then on for client approval.
- Ensure that any relevant project information received from the client is appropriately transmitted within the team via document control
- Regular liaison with other departments, Procurement, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Production and Site Teams.
- Liaise with external supply chain where required to ensure accurate delivery of material/parts to Factory/Site.
- Periodic site and factory visits at key milestones on the projects you will be working on.
- Take part in our knowledge transfer huddles, mentor others and support the whole team to continuously improve and innovate
- Build relationships with clients, giving consideration to how we meet and exceed their expectations by taking time to listen, innovate and provide solutions whilst minimising risk for the client and the company.

**Required Criteria**
- Degree, HND or equivalent in the built environment sector; Architecture/Architectural Technology and 3+ years’ experience as a designer in cladding and/or glazing, OR - 5+ years’ experience as a designer in cladding and/or glazing, OR- Highly proficient in use of AutoCAD.

**Desired Criteria**
- 3+ years’ experience as a designer in cladding and glazing on projects over £4m.
- Experience of using BIM on a regular basis.
- Experience of Revit and Sketchup.
