Position: Full-Time Permanent Work Placement & Experience Officer
Location: Moulton, United Kingdom
**Salary**: Up to £26,000 per annum
Are you passionate about helping students gain valuable work experience and supporting their professional development? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Work Placement & Experience Officer to join our team at our college in Moulton. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the futures of our students by providing them with quality work placement opportunities and fostering their growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and industry professionals to identify suitable work placement opportunities for our students.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand their requirements and align work placements with students' areas of study.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure the quality and appropriateness of work placements, monitor students' progress, and address any issues that may arise.
- Deliver workshops and training sessions to prepare students for their work placements, focusing on professional skills development, workplace expectations, and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements, evaluations, and feedback, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes, actively engaging in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational institution or related field.
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) to demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, employers, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices regarding work placements and health and safety in educational settings.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and databases for record keeping and reporting.
**Salary**: Up to £26,000.00 per year
