The role

About you

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Utilise VLOOKUPs and other advanced Excel functions to perform data matching and retrieval tasks for order processing efficiently.
- Liaise with customers to manage expectations and provide updates on their orders from start to finish.
- Coordinate with procurement to order stock for customers promptly.
- Provide delivery instructions to the warehouse to ensure timely shipment.
- Monitor stock levels and work closely with the warehouse to avoid stockouts.
- Manage delivery costs and cut-off times for deliveries, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery options.
- Collaborate with the sales teams, passing on new opportunities generated through customer enquiries.
- Support marketing campaigns and assist in driving sales efforts where necessary.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their product needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders and shipping.
- Utilise MS Office and any relevant software to streamline the sales order processing workflow.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 or similar software is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM system is a plus.
- Prior experience in dealing with sales order processing is essential.
