**About the role**

We are looking for a creative, innovative and dynamic events professional who can support fundraisers to provide an engaging and unique experience for all prospects and donors in their British Red Cross journey, through our organised events. It’s a really exciting time to join as we are developing our events programme using immersive, digital and VR elements to deliver an outstanding supporter experience that brings the British Red Cross International and UK work to the supporter.

**A day in the life of a Stewardship Events Senior Officer will include;**
- Reporting into, and work closely with, the Stewardship Events Senior Manager and Stewardship Events Officer to deliver an annual calendar of virtual and in-person events for high value supporters. This calendar will include events that attract potential new supporters as well events that thank, recognise and steward existing supporters. The key audiences for these events will be the corporate sector, public sector, institutions, major donors, trusts & foundations.
- Leading and delivering key events, developing the supporter experience with an innovative and creative approach. You will be working with stakeholders across the organisation including colleagues in fundraising as well as senior stakeholders such as British Red Cross Trustees and our Executive Leadership Team..
- You will be managing the delivery of the event to meet key metrics on the Events KPI dashboard, which are part of the overall Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy and income targets
- You will be responsible for managing the budget of each event
