HR Officer

At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our prestigious client who are looking to recruit a HR Officer based in Penicuik.

Excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company, who are looking to expand their existing operations team.

Duties will include:

- Being the first point of contact for HR queries across the group with appropriate escalation to Senior HR Advisor or Head of HR where required.
- HR support for the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, induction, probation, employment changes and leavers. This would involve sitting on interview panels and carrying out induction for new staff.
- HR support for visiting placements, for students and visiting academics.
- Maintaining HR system, adding new starters to the system, updating changes and processing leavers.
- Ensure the effective management and organisation of documents, records, and files for HR, in line with internal policies and GDPR requirements.
- Proactively manage the HR mailbox, liaising with team members to ensure all incoming mail is acknowledged and dealt with by the HR team.
- Managing administration of flexi system and generating reports (such as sickness absence and turnover) from the HR systems.
- Organise training (e.g. online, in person) for HR and other specialised areas as required.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
