**About The Role**:

As a Trainee Customer Service Advisor, you will be learning to do one of the most important jobs in our business, looking after our customers. Which means building relationships, getting to know what they do, how they do it, and most importantly, how we can help them do it better.

We will provide you with everything you need and ensure you are equipped for success. This will include training, support and guidance whilst working alongside our experienced team members, and inclusion on our Customer Service Development programme, which is designed to ensure that you’re confident and empowered to deliver a world class rental experience to your customers. Additionally, we will enrol you on a 15-month Hire Controller upskilling apprenticeship programme to further develop your industry knowledge. There could not be a more exciting time to join us and following successful completion of your training you will be offered a permanent role, with one of the best rental equipment providers in the industry.

Daily you’ll work within one of our Operational Centres where you will:

- Continuously gain an extensive knowledge of our products and services
- Succeed in understanding how to manage all aspects of an order, from enquiry to post-hire feedback and take ownership of the customer journey
- Build excellent working relationships with customers, learning to understand their business needs and requirements
- Develop the ability to recommend products and services that meet customer needs, ensuring a comprehensive and effective customer experience every time
- Develop exceptional communication skills including effective negotiating and influencing
- Learn to use your own judgment and initiative to make decisions in line with our company policies and pricing structures
- Gain an understanding of managing hire contract administration, ensuring that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Become an ambassador for our “Customer First” culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping your customers informed, so that they feel truly valued
- Expand your team working skills with your colleagues and the wider Sunbelt Rentals team
- Experience a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment, learning to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Embrace learning new IT systems and enjoy making the most of technology in your job role

**About You**:
As this is a Trainee position you do not need previous Customer Service experience, but the following behaviours and personal qualities would be desirable:

- Ability to meet the eligibility criteria for the upskilling apprenticeship and to achieve a formal qualification. This includes having already achieved a GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths and English at grade 3/D or above
