IT Administrator

**Tructyre**has an exciting opportunity for a **IT Administrator**to join the team based in **Gateshead.**You will be joining on a **full-time permanent basis**and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of**up £28,000 per annum**.

At Tructyre our mission is to De-risk Britain’s Fleets by offering commercial tyre management to the nation’s truck fleets, giving customers confidence that their tyres are safe and legal. Our three core services are tyre maintenance, tyre supply and a 24/7rapid emergency response service.

Tructyre is a proud part of the Michelin Group and Euromaster family, and is Britain’s only national, single-owned truck tyre specialist.

In the UK, a team of around 600 colleagues work across our warehouse network, regional depots, support functions and Gateshead based customer experience centre, to take care of our customers.

Tructyre’s team of keyworkers have kept Britain’s fleets moving, helping make essential deliveries during the pandemic. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to ensure we are best placed to support our customers and their Vehicles.

**About the IT Administrator role**:
Working from our Customer Experience Centre in Gateshead, our IT team empower our colleagues to support our customer’s. You will be our people’s go to when they experience hardware, software and network issues as well as ensuring our computing operationsrun with optimal performance and security.

**Your responsibilities as our IT Administrator will include**:

- Diagnose and resolve a variety of IT related issues as and when they arise
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth and secure performance, including replacement and upgrading of outdated or defective components
- Make recommendations to the business to support a continuous improvement approach to our networked system

**What we’re looking for in our IT Administrator**:
You will have experience of working within a similar IT Administration role and possess a Microsoft MCSE cert. or similar. You will possess an excellent ability to problem solve and effectively manage often conflicting priorities/workloads. Our IT functionsupports our wider colleague network, so it is important that you have a patient and professional demeanour with some experience of providing IT support remotely. You will be comfortable travelling as our technicians are truly mobile and operate across ourcustomer’s sites and attend to rapid response work.
