**Full Time Permanent: 36.25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday (Hybrid role 1 day a week from home)**

**What will you be doing?**
- To provide timely and professional HR advice to managers and staff on HR issues ensuring compliance with relevant employment law and best practice, referring complex and sensitive issues to the HR Manager as appropriate.
- Driving the monitoring of staff absence levels ensuring all staff are progressed in accordance with the sickness absence policy, work with the line managers in recommending credible solutions to resolve attendance issues working to KPI’s in the reduction of absence.
- Give HR advice on key ER issues such as disciplinaries, grievances and employee health related issues.
- Ensure Managers are aware of BOC policies and procedures by treating employees fairly, in line with regulatory and legislative requirements and best practice
- To support and advise on any disciplinary and grievance hearings.
- CIPD Qualified to Level 3 or above is essential (with the opportunity to progress fully funded to CIPD Level 5)
- Excellent ICT skills and sound knowledge of HR systems, processes and legislation
- Experience of working within an HR environment
