INTRODUCTION TO CROYDEX

Croydex designs and manufactures innovative bathroom accessories. It is based in Andover, Hampshire and has manufacturing partners across the world. Croydex is part of the Norcros Group, the market leading supplier of innovative branded showers, taps, bathroom accessories, tiles, and adhesives.

Available throughout the UK, Croydex is a leading bathroom accessories brand, trusted by the most prominent names in trade and retail. We deliver simple answers to everyday bathroom design and installation problems. Established in 1919, Croydex has consistently developed inventive, practical, and compliant bathroom solutions for skilled professionals, tradesmen, and consumers. In addition to Croydex products, we design and manufacture a range of specification washroom accessories under the Metlex brand.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role is a key support function as part of the commercial team in the delivery of profitable and sustainable growth, helping launch new products and delivering best in class digital content, highlighting Croydex as the no1 Bathroom Accessories brand.

Main responsibilities include collation of all forms of digital content from internal sources to implementing high quality content across relevant marketplaces, retail and e-commerce customers, ensuring our digital presence supports and enhances our product offering and brand strategy both in the UK and globally. The role also includes the opportunity to work on specific customer projects that reinforces our strategic global sales plan and is a great opportunity for someone to begin a rewarding career in the dynamic world of digital sales.
- Build an understanding of and deliver best in class digital content ensuring our digital presence supports and enhances our product offering and the Brand is represented to the highest level.
- Monitor marketplaces and websites to ensure the business is continuously improving our digital content, recommending improvements to reflect a best-in-class position and keeping up to date with the latest digital trends and algorithm changes.
- Collate from internal sources product information, photography, CGI imagery, video content, written copy and technical assets to prepare information for upload onto customer and marketplace specific software and portals.
- Develop a detailed understanding of customer’s website and portal software, to fully optimise our content uploads onto their sites and drive customer satisfaction.
- Accurately upload product content to marketplaces and customer portals in a timely manner, ensuring customer and company brand guidelines are adhered to and products and innovation are communicated effectively.
- Implement price adjustments, listing quality improvements and promotional activity on marketplaces and company website to drive sales on targeted products and campaigns.
- Utilise the Customer Review and Feedback insight to pro-actively improve product listings to reduce return rates protecting profitability and increase customer satisfaction.
- Build an understanding of differences in digital content for targeted countries outside of the UK to support commercial global expansion plans and product and brand launch programs.
- Support the company Digital Sales Strategy, optimising SEO and communication techniques on company websites and marketplaces both within the UK and Worldwide.
- Support the Commercial Managers on targeted web-based projects on behalf of our customers, utilising digital content knowledge to give our customers best in class content driving both their and ultimately our sales.
- Optimise digital content with high search volume keywords to ensure maximum product visibility and successful algorithm ranking.
- Ensure that all content uploaded on either Croydex websites or customer websites is accurate and correct.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Experience
- Experience/ understanding of trading in an online environment (listing and selling on Amazon, eBay or other marketplace) (desirable)
- Experience of marketplace / web based portals / web content management systems or of producing digital content (desirable)
- Business / Retail / Marketing degree (desirable but not essential)

Personal
- Good attention to detail and able to manage large amounts of data efficiently
- Well-organised with the ability to track progress and follow up on tasks
- A sales driven and customer focussed team player who can work cross-functionally
- A confident communicator both verbally and written

Technical
- PC literacy - use of Excel, Word, Outlook (essential)
- Technically savvy (essential) with an understanding of trading in an online environment (desirable)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop (desirable)

- 8.30am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4pm Friday (30 min lunch)
