**VAN DELIVERY DRIVER**

**MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.00 STARTS**

**£11.98 PER HOUR**

People Solutions are pleased to be working with a well-known battery supplier to support their delivery network across the UK, offering a temp to perm Van Delivery Driver role.

Working Monday to Friday, starting at 8am and earning £11.98 per hour, you will be a key part of the delivery team.

**Day to Day Duties**

As the face of the business in the local area, your day will start with you spending time ensuring you have everything needed for the day ahead.

You'll then be responsible for:

- Delivering and collecting batteries across the local areas
- Working to deliver outstanding levels of service
- Completing delivery paperwork with customers upon delivery or collection
- Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure the safety of your vehicle & load

**Essential Skills**

Essential skills for this role are:

- A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for insurance reasons
- Good time keeping
- A professional appearance and attitude
- Confident when dealing with people
- The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative

**Desirable Experience**

Experience in a similar delivery role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

**Training**

Training on the completion of paperwork, manual handling and routing systems will be provided.
