The Role

The role is a full time, permanent position offering hybrid working.
Responsibilities for this role include:

- Co-ordinating stock control with operations
- Reviewing supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
- Placing and receiving orders to replenish stocks as needed.
- Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays
- Overseeing stock storage processes
- Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage
- Running regularly inventory audits
- Updating shipment records
- Researching and approaching new suppliers
- Collating terms, prices and agreements of suppliers.
- Maintenance of supply chain databases
- Raising of Purchasing Orders

The Individual

The successful Warehousing and Purchasing Assistant will be/ have:

- 1 year experience in purchasing
- 1 year experience in warehouse/ inventory control
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
- Influencing skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Flexibility
- Reliability
- Attention to detail.
