**Job Title**:Purchase Ledger Clerk

**Pay Bracket**:£23,000 - £26,000 DOE

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring accounts professional with knowledge of accounts payable to join a rapidly growing, private equity backed business in North Manchester.

The business is looking for someone dynamic and keen to learn with strong ability in Excel, whilst we are looking for a minimum commitment to 2 years in purchase ledger, the future opportunities within the company are endless - promoting from within andhaving plans to double in size across the next 5 years.

**Your main roles and responsibilities**:
The role has a key focus on purchase ledger / accounts payable, including:

- Management of the company purchase ledger alongside a small team - processing invoices in high volumes and lower values, matching GRN codes and ensuring timely payments
- Query resolution - escalating to the finance manager if needed
- Processing company expenses
- Processing supplier credit notes
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing upwards, chasing for additional information and communicating with wider teams in the business
- Ad hoc office and administration duties as required
- A good knowledge of transactional accounting - particularly purchase ledger / accounts payable
- Working knowledge of Excel - being confident with v-lookups, sum if and pivot tables
- A friendly personality who works well independently and within a wider team
- Ability to work at pace with accuracy
- Knowledge of multi-currency is highly advantageous
