Job Introduction
This new role is accountable for supporting the global transformation of end-to-end international HR delivery and support. The position is part of the HR Senior Leadership Team and is pivotal in ensuring HR delivers efficiently and effectively and is accessible to all.

Main Responsibilities
As an HR leader, you will be representing the function internally and externally, visibly role modelling our values and behaviours. You will lead large scale, complex functional/Pan BBC HR change programmes, managing stakeholders within a matrix environment, to ensure successful delivery within budget and timescales. You’ll ensure our international policies, procedures, processes and technologies are fit for purpose whilst proactively leading and continually improving the service delivery across the BBC, with the aim of delighting customers with the services offered. The successful applicant will play a lead role in the success of the HR Operating Model ensuring integration across HR to deliver a high quality, valued HR service that helps to develop management capability and the desired organisational culture in line with our strategy.

By leading the team performance, you will ensure our people are developed, motivated and available to deliver all services that in turn add value to the BBC. You will deliver consistently to an agreed service level agreements/Key Performance Indicators and Looking to continually improve HR processes, controls and procedures implementing robust compliance and governance in place.
- Experience leading large scale, complex functional/Pan BBC HR change programmes
- Track record of delivering strategic initiatives that enhance business performance in a global environment
- Experience in managing significant budgets and understanding key financial drivers.
- Adept at managing numerous, diverse senior and executive level stakeholders, often operating under tight timescales and managing numerous competing priorities.
- A convincing and persuasive communicator, required to modify beliefs and opinions of teams, as well as senior stakeholders, able to establish effective and collaborative relations across BBC departments, and external agencies/stakeholders where required.
- Demonstrates resilience in a complex, challenging environment
- Able to build strong, trusted relationships across the function, the wider BBC and externally
- Exceptional communicator: an ability to influence and persuade at Executive Level
- Confident using data and insight to create leading edge, innovative tools/solutions
- Experience of leading and managing HR teams in complex global organisations
