**Customer Service Coordinator (Southampton)**

Peacocks Medical Group are a multi-award-winning family group providing outstanding care in the national delivery of both clinical services and medical equipment throughout the UK.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join us at our Southampton offices, on a full time, permanent basis, however part time hours working Monday - Friday would be considered.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To build, develop and maintain relationships with our NHS Trust Clinics working together to provide an outstanding service and treatment to patients.
- Primary contact coordinating orders, queries and patient appointments.
- To be point of contact between the customer and business partners.
- Cover Appliance Offices at Millyard as well as Southampton General Hospital as and when required.
- Taking inbound telephone calls from internal and external customers as well as patients.
- Processing and managing both new and repeat patient orders for stock and bespoke orthotic goods.
- Receipting orders for stock and bespoke orthotics, managing stock movement for all clinics ensuring delivery in time for patient appointments.
- Escalating any complex or difficult customer and patient issues immediately to the Team Leader/Manager.
- Scheduling patient appointments, booking and amending as necessary, ensuring clinic capacity is being maximized, reducing patient delays.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required**:

- Numerate and literacy skills - GSCE grade C or above in English and Maths.
- Experience in a similar customer/patient centric environment.
- Always maintains level of confidentiality.
- Quality is at the forefront of everything we do, therefore you must demonstrate a commitment to professional and personal quality standards.
- Recognise your responsibility to consider the environmental impact of our business and your day-to-day activities, which arise through consumption of energy and resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational & prioritisation skills in a demanding environment.
