My client is looking for a Business Development Director to join a fast growing and established UK Fintech company where you will be able to develop new opportunities, incoming new prospects and manage the sales process through to negotiation and closingthe deal.

Your role will be to generate sales and develop a wide range of opportunities within the UK Fintech markets. You will be working closely with the Sales Director, the product and delivery teams. A highly collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset is key tobeing a top performer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Acting as a point of contact between customers
- Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs
- Generating opportunities
- Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
- Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase
- Pipeline management and recording of pertinent information in the Company’s CRM
- Advising product developers on improvements to include in forthcoming product developments

Key Skills:

- 5 year+ track record of overperformance in a Sales Environment
- Experience in Insurance Sales / SaaS sales experience will be a plus
- Proven track record in converting prospects to closed deals
- Excellent communications skills - oral and written
- Good listening skills and attention to detail
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a range of channels
- Good self-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Great sense of self-motivation, determination, a strong work ethic, and a can do attitude
- Works well within a team
