This client are looking for a Payroll Compliance Officer to join the current Finance team in order to assist with the growing needs of the company, the main job objective is to provide reconciliation and compliance support and guidance to colleagues, financeand the business.

This office is based in Keynsham and offer onsite parking.

**Description**

To support the reconciliation of the WVR/Recharge to the FICO and FPS
- To reconcile the HMRC payments in current period, to-date and to resolve any historic HMRC reconciliation issues
- To ensure that all payments are allocated correctly on the HMRC online portal
- To reconcile all 3rd party payments and provide reports to support the payments
- To investigate with the teams any queries or discrepancies raised by fiannce and follow them through to resolution
- To contact employees and liaise with the relevant business areas to recover employee overpayments
- To track overpayments and liaise with finance over their recovery
- To provide support to the business in any fraud investigations
- To support the team in answering queries raised by internal and external auditors
- To support the Compliance Supervisor in reviewing process instructions and checklists for completeness and

relevance and to ensure they are updated in line with operational needs and legislative/policy changes
- Have fun and be passionate about what you do
- To support the Compliance Supervisor in designing audit-based tests to ensure compliance and for the investigation of potential fraud
- To recommend and ensure adherence to best practice processes
- To provide advice, guidance and training in support of changes to operational practices, legislation or company policy
- Administer the Benefit Schemes, ie Childcare Vouchers, SIPS, Sharesave, GAYE, Private Healthcare, Flexible Benefits, Life Cover.

**Profile**
- Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently on own initiative and also to contribute as part of a team
- Excellent IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft office
- Payroll knowledge would be an advantage
