**Role purpose**

Working as a member of the Grounds routine & reactive team you will be delivering a wide range of services including Parks & Open spaces, Cemetery maintenance, Highways Maintenance, Road sweeping & Street cleaning.

**What you'll be doing**
On a day-to-day basis you will:

- Grounds Maintenance Operations (Grass cutting/strimming, Hedge cutting, Shrub pruning, Border work, Weed control, Grave digging with/without a digger & General landscaping);
- Highway Operations (Highway repairs, Minor Civil Engineering works, Jetting of drainage systems, Installation & maintenance of Traffic Management);
- Street Cleansing Operations (Litter Bin collection, Litter picking, Fly Tip removal, Dead animal collection, Other cleansing services);
- Support the emergency response team;
- Carry out Point of Work Risk Assessments for all tasks.

To join us in this role, you **must** demonstrate/obtain the following:

- A Passion for Traffic Management;
- Health & Safety Awareness;
- Full UK driving licence;
- Experience of working within a Ground Maintenance Environment.
