**On Trade Warehouse Team Leader**

Hall and Woodhouse is a 246-year old independent Dorset-based regional brewer. The Brewery team remain on course to deliver our ambitious goals which will take us up to H&W’s 250th anniversary, and to help us achieve those ambitions we are now recruiting an On Trade Warehouse Team Leader. **ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the On Trade Warehouse Team Leader your main goals will be:

- Day-to-day supervision of warehouse team, ensuring that all services levels are achieved and operational targets are met
- You will provide proactive co-ordination of resources to achieve optimised warehouse performance.
- Working closely with the Transport and Warehouse Operations Manager, Head of Distribution, Supply Chain Manager and team members to ensure that continuous improvement, team building and training initiatives will be driven forward
- You will play a crucial role supporting all aspects of the delivery of service levels whilst providing supervision and leadership to the warehouse team

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Line management of 8 warehouse operatives along with the development and coaching of others, via introduction and maintenance of Individual Development Plans
- To be at the forefront for Continuous Improvement
- Effective communication and liaison with all internal and external customers and suppliers
- Team deployment
- Overseeing the picking of customer orders & ensuring effective dray loading
- Accountability of stock control within the On Trade Warehouse
- Weekly inventory counting and investigation of discrepancies ensuring that Company stocktaking procedures are always followed
- Thorough stock analysis, investigation & assessment within cycle counting
- Safety of Team at work, supporting Health and Safety throughout the site and ensuring Safe and environmentally sound operations at all times.
- Reporting on team hours worked
- Attending site safety committee meetings
- Liaison with all brewery teams
- Communication with Warehouse suppliers
- Covering for Transport Manager as and when required
- Monitor FLT operation and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Develop positive links with other internal departments
- Liaise with suppliers for delivery of proprietary goods
- Quality, Cost and Morale targets for the warehouse
- Forklift licence (Competent person on site)
- LPG Instructor
- Racking Competent Person on site
- H&S qualification
- CPC
- Management qualification desirable

**ABOUT YOU**

As a Warehouse Team Leader you would ideally have previous exposure to a warehouse environment as well as Leadership and Management experience of a team. You would also ideally have background involvement in stock management and an analytical & meticulous disposition.

A highly motivated leader with experience of transport and warehouse operations, preferably with a management qualification who also has possession of FLT license.

We are looking for an individual with excellent time management, problem solving and influencing skills who is confident using Microsoft Excel.

**LOCATION**:
The role will be based at the Brewery

**PACKAGE**:

- Salary between £30,000 up to £33,000 dependent upon experience inclusive of reserve hours.
- Brewery Based role.
- Current holiday allowance in existing role will be retained.
- Day off for your birthday
- Westfield Cash Back Plan and hospital treatment insurance - which also covers any dependent children. (Partners can be added to the plan for a small monthly cost)
