A brand-new capability, we are searching for a MuleSoft Technical Lead to accommodate our expansion on our Integration capacity in a global scale at BSI.

The MuleSoft Technical Lead will be a key role to a frictionless running of the Integration Development team within BSI, leading and providing technical leadership to the Integration Developers in the design and development of API, ensuring the alignment with the business needs as well as our IT strategies.

The role is responsible in promoting the development of best practice and continuous improvement of the API, providing technical leadership to the Integrations team as well as providing the business the benefits of delivering Integrations.

This role will be working in hybrid capacity, with the expectation of working in either our London or Milton Keynes offices once per week.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead and provide technical leadership to colleagues through coaching and mentorship through Integration delivery for the business.
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and architects to plan, design, develop and test APIs.
- Collaborate and work with our cross functional teams to deliver valuable products.
- Establish and evolve our code security capabilities; mature best practice in source code management, branching and merging practices.
- Responsible for resource planning and demand liaising with delivery & operational teams ensuring projects and operations are delivered on time.
- Contribute to the design, build and operational management of a highly scalable, secure and available PaaS/SaaS platform.

To succeed in this role, you have:

- Experience in design and development of APIs, supporting and driving a DevOps culture and building out capability.
- Knowledge or experience of the following or similar toolsets / technologies:

- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Work Management: Azure Boards and/or Jira, Confluence
- Code Management: Azure Repos and/or Enterprise GitHub or Bitbucket
- Cloud IaaS / PaaS platforms including AWS or Azure
- Demonstrable experience of working in cloud (AZURE/AWS), IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.
- Proven track record of working with stakeholders in large, complex organizations, demonstrating a great ability to listen and navigate competing sets of priorities, business opportunities, and challenges.
- Experience in managing, leading and coaching a high performing team of developers.
