**About the role**

We are looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our Operations Team at New Lanark Trust.

Guest Service Agents are responsible for ensuring all of our customers receive a premium service experience. A Guest Service Agent’s key focus is delivering sales and upselling. Working as part of a team they contribute towards delivering a positive experience for our customers through providing a friendly and efficient level of customer service, making our customers feel welcome and at ease whilst spending time in the site. They are happy to interact with customers, demonstrate our products where required and use their product knowledge to drive and achieve site-wide sales targets. Key responsibilities include:

- Welcoming and greeting all customers who enter the site
- Engaging with customers to offer assistance, making them feel warm and welcomed and understand their needs and requirements
- Processing bookings for accommodation, food & beverage and visitors centre across the site
- Processing meal and beverage requests as well as serving food and beverage to guests
- Servicing housekeeping needs

**About you**:
You will be able to sell through your outstanding service skills. Your ability to give customers an excellent experience will mean that they will tell others and come back to us - it will be your stand out strength.

We need you to be flexible in terms of hours and working approach combined with a willingness to train and learn new skills.
