**Job Purpose / Overview**

The LTQR Manager takes responsibility for delivery and compliance with the LTQR Processes and Procedures that are associated with their designated Projects and Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).

To discharge the role requires a range of technical skills and competences, management and communication skills, construction/ installation/ commissioning and end-user stakeholder awareness, demonstration of contractual requirements and knowledge of variousStandard Project Procedures and Quality Control Procedures.

**Operating Environment**

The role is mainly site based with a flexibility to work from other offices and locations as required and deemed suitable.

**Framework & Boundaries**

The LTQR Manager will facilitate and contribute into project wide LTQR management issues which require a high level of interaction and coordination with other MDT members, site wide team, third party contractors and other parties.

In addition to the development, liaising, reporting, and verification of LTQR accountabilities, the LTQR Manager will be required to adhere to and suggest enhancements and improvements to company policies, procedures and protocols for Project Delivery/CloseOut, Handover, Quality Control and Record Keeping.

**Principal Accountabilities**

The LTQR Manager is accountable for supporting the identification of appropriate documentation during contractor on-boarding, including the determination of LTQRs to be generated prior to the start of the construction works, ensuring continued progressivecollation throughout the life cycle of the project, where content is verified / approved at the associated procedural review points and uploaded onto EDRMS in line with completed physical works.

**The LTQR Manager will**:

- Work with the Project and Contract Managers, ensuring the Works Information (WI) has suitable and sufficient content within, pertaining to the collation of Handover Documentation and manage subsequent reviews of this documentation prior to Handover
- Liaise with the Quality team to ensure that contractor’s produced partitioning strategy and ITPs for work is acceptable to the client and to provide continued support as necessary.
- Produce and manage the associated LTQR checklists upon approval of partitioning strategy and ITPs, identifying required inputs for the review by various stakeholders. Ensure checklists are filed and stored correctly following completion and submittal tothe client
- Ensure the contractor is fully aware of their obligations, in regard to LTQR requirements. Organising briefings, meetings, presentations and providing guidance and familiarisation of those requirements, to better prepare the Contractor to deliver the correctdocumentation, to the required standard at the appropriate time, in the Project Life Cycle.
- Refine and implement LTQR delivery strategy to support the successful handover as required of areas, assets, systems and works, both for offsite and onsite works.
- Manage the employment of the RSOs and Completions Coordinators to ensure timely delivery, review and approval of all relevant LTQRs to enable follow on works and installation / commissioning and or takeover.
- Liaise with Tier 1 Contractors, other members of the completion team and associated NNB MDT’s, to ensure that any subsidiary or associated LTQRs are clearly identified, related and documented including offsite manufacturing and generic onsite records.
- Manage adherence to and compliance of the Construction Team, the wider MDT and Contract Partners, to relevant LTQR procedures and specifications.
- Support with the reporting of LTQRS, verifying information and suggesting amendments to EDRMs data as necessary.
- Manage and promote a unified approach to LTQR submission review and approval across the entire HPC Project identifying a graded approach where necessary, capturing and implementing lessons learned.
- Contribute to periodic reviews and revisions of relevant procedures, specifications and supporting documentation in accordance with procedural requirements.

The LTQR Manager, will report to the Completions Lead, whilst liaising directly with the relevant stakeholder Construction and Installation teams and Quality Leads, to determine the requirement for and the agreed content and assessment criteria of the anticipatedLTQR portfolio. The LTQR Manager will have a number of additional stakeholder Interfaces, e.g.

The LTQR Manager will report to the Completions Lead for their wider portfolio of works demonstrating ability to:
**Customer Quality Leads**

The LTQR Manager, will report to the Completions Lead, whilst liaising directly with the relevant stakeholder construction and installation teams, and Quality Leads, to determine the requirement for and the agreed content and assessment criteria of the anticipatedLTQR portfolio. The LTQR Manager will have a number of additional stakeholder interfaces, including but not limited to:

- Senior Management Team (Construction Director, Head of Construction Technical Support)
- Programme Managers
- JDO
- Quality Delivery Manager and Quality Management Leads
- Project Managers
- Asset Management Team
- Commissioning and Pre-operational Teams
- NEC Supervisor and Surveillance Team
- Construction and Installation
- Internal and External Regulatory Functions

**Qualifications & Experience**

Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, construction management or equivalent vocational training and experience
- Extensive experience in the delivery of large, complex projects, including Power, Chemical and Industrial
- Experience of operating in a high security environment
- Experience in the construction, installation, erection and commissioning

Desirable
- Chartered status
- Experience of successfully completing areas of projects with a value of £50M to 100M or similar sized complex projects (£1B - £3B)
- Experience in the installation and erection of large Civil, Mechanical or Electrical plant with nuclear experience being an advantage
