**Electrical Contracts Manager**required for our client to help deliver on a variety of projects across the security and defence sectors. Our client works in the UK and overseas so the Electrical Contract Manager must be willing to travel andstay away.

The Electrical Contract Manager will be based within a commutable distance of Chichester, however worldwide travel is required.

This role will have you seeing places in the world such as Caribbean, Nigeria, Middle East and much more. Projects range from £250k to £10m and this is a brand new position within the business to help support the team.

**Electrical Contracts ManagerPosition Overview**

You will be required to ensure that all electrical aspects of the projects under your remit are properly managed and controlled, and that all commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance to the business plan.
- Researching materials, equipment and labour costs in weird and wonderful locations.
- Support EICR programme in delivery
- Support electrical remedials programmes in delivery
- Gathering quotes and arranging orders from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Produce take offs and be able to successfully read and understand electrical drawings
- Preparing and submitting electrical remedial tenders
- Support the Project Managers with raising variations and valuations.
- Ensure financial success of projects especially by improving forecasting systems and ensuring opportunity for disallowed costs is shut down promptly

**Electrical Contracts ManagerPosition Requirements**
- Ideally located within regular travelling distance to Chichester (1hr).
- Understand statutory compliance
- Willing to travel with an eyes wide open approach to life and people.

**Electrical Contracts ManagerPosition Remuneration**
- £40,000 - £60,000 DOE
- 5 Hours a week
- Ability to work remotely with desk at Head Office in Chichester.
