**Salary**:
**Lecturer Grade F**: £32,348 to £42,155 per annum
**Lecturer Grade G**: £43,414 to £51,805 per annum
**Closing Date**: 08 February 2023
The Role
This is a full-time, 5 year fixed term post.
The University has developed an Academic Job Summary Guidance document which summarises the range of activities that academic staff may be expected to perform.
Undertake activities in order to support students, specifically: Advise students and provide feedback in relation to their academic progress Act as a personal tutor for individual students in line with University Regulations Contribute to administration in order to ensure the effective organisation of degree programmes within the School and Faculty Contribute to scholarship and research in order to enhance the reputation of the School, Faculty and University Undertake other duties as seen as necessary by the Head of School; this may include contributions to other undergraduate courses in the School and postgraduate programmes
The Person (Essential)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience of teaching to dental, medical or other undergraduate students Experience of teaching in a further or Higher Educational Institution or teaching hospital Experience of offering effective student support and guidance Experience of teaching or training health professionals An active interest in current developments in the clinical education development arena Interest in developing knowledge and skills in anatomy teaching. Interest in the development of pedagogy and improving quality in this area Ability to deliver lectures, seminars and practical sessions to both small and large groups of students Ability to develop innovative and effective teaching materials, including technology enhanced learning modalities A developing research profile in Clinical education research Must be prepared to work flexibly and according to the demands of the programme
