We are recruiting an experienced Service Controller to further strengthen our depot team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you’ll play a key role in the maintenance, repair and servicing of our fleet.

Above all, you’ll have a great work ethic, be able to react to ever changing priorities and work with a minimum of supervision.

**Key responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure plant inspections, repairs and services are carried out on time and in a cost-effective manner.
- Raise repair jobs on our hire software (Syrinx) and inform customers of any damage charges.
- Manage our plant service schedules for LOLERs and EICRs.
- Manage our fleet vehicle maintenance and ensure services and MOTs are scheduled.
- Write up breakdown and repair damage reports.
- Monitor our service mailbox and respond to enquiries.
- Organise third-party repairs.
- Liaise with parts suppliers ensuring correct parts are identified, ordered and accurately received on our hire software.
- Manage warranty claims.
- Provide cover for co-ordinating our Mobile Engineers
- Carry out regular parts stock checks.
- Organise the sign-writing and tracker installations on new machinery.
- Negotiate rates with our parts suppliers.
- Manage our service department month-end processes.
- Manage and report on our service department ISO procedures.

**Skills and experience**
- At least two years' experience as a service controller/service coordinator within a tool/plant/vehicle company (**Required**)
- Experience coordinating and liaising with engineers regarding maintenance/repair work (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Job specifics**
- **7am - 5pm Mon-Fri**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
