Service Controller

We supply premium plant hire products and solutions to a diverse customer base, underpinned by industry leading ‘best in class customer service.’

We are recruiting an experienced Service Controller to further strengthen our depot team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in the maintenance, repair and servicing of our fleet.

Above all, you’ll have a great work ethic, be able to react to ever changing priorities and work with a minimum of supervision.

**Key responsibilities**
- Monitor our service mailbox and service telephone line.
- Raise repair jobs on our hire software (Syrinx) and inform customers of any damage charges.
- Enter plant inspection details onto our hire software.
- Manage our plant service schedules for LOLERs and EICRs.
- Write up breakdown and repair damage reports.
- Organise third-party repairs.

Support our Service Manager to:

- Order parts
- Manage warranty claims.
- Co-ordinate our Mobile Engineers
- Carry out parts stock checks.
- Organise the sign-writing and tracker installations on new machinery.
- Assist with our fleet vehicle maintenance and ensure services and MOTs are scheduled.

**Skills and experience**
- At least two years' experience as a service controller/service coordinator within a tool/plant/vehicle company (**Required**)
- Experience coordinating and liaising with engineers regarding maintenance/repair work (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- **7am - 5pm Mon-Fri**

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
