Nursery Practitioner needed in Nuneaton, PT and FT on a Long term or day-day basis.

Your new company

Through Hays Education you will be working as a Nursery Practitioner starting in the new academic year. There is a huge demand for Nursery Practitioners all around Coventry and Warwickshire. You will be working with children in early year settings ranging from nurseries up to preschool. We are currently recruiting for Nursery practitioners all across Nuneaton on a part- or full-time basis.

Your new role

As a Nursery practitioner you will be working on a scheduled basis starting from 8am up until 6pm with children from early ages ranging from babies to the age of 5. You will be working on a full or part time basis allowing you to support your commitments. You will be organising outings and planning simple lesson for the children to be able to play and interact in teaching them basic social skills. You will be maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the classroom ensuring a safe and stimulating environment is kept at all times. You will be working alongside other nursery staff and providing them and the parents with progress reports of the children.

What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful Nursery Practitioner you must have good communication and written skills to be able to communicate well with the children and staff. You will need to have a good understanding of the child's development and their emotional and intellectual needs. You should ideally be level 2 or level 3 qualified and have up to 6 months of experience working within a early years setting teaching and engaging with children of young age.
