- Be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the finance team, including all training, development, and performance reviews.
- Maintain and improve current monthly and annual reports to identify results, industry trends and financial forecasts.
- Ensure that all deadlines for PAYE, VAT and Year end reporting are submitted in a timely fashion.
- Oversee the company's budget, as well as create and maintain financial forecasts to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights that support management decisions, such as identifying cost-saving opportunities, revenue growth strategies, and areas of financial risk.
- Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Identify and assess financial risks, develop strategies to mitigate these risks, and contribute to the formulation of risk management policies.
- Utilise and optimise the company's financial software and systems to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information and assist in the presenting of reports to board members and key stakeholders..

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or a similar level, with significant post qualification experience.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is essential.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, as well as advanced Excel skills. Experience working with Power BI would also be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are a must for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and management skills to oversee the finance team effectively.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the company's overall business strategy.
- A good understanding of data privacy standards

**Salary**: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
