Vickerstock are working alongside one of our leading clients based in Armagh to recruit a HR Assistant to join their busy team on a permanent basis. The HR Assistant will support the HR Manager and provide advice to staff and line management.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an award-winning organisation and gain valuable experience within the HR Function.

**The HR Assistant will assist with the following**:

- Advise line managers on HR processes (recruitment, absence, leavers, holidays)
- Support and deliver Training.
- Liaise with line managers to review and update job descriptions and adverts as required.
- Advertise vacancies both internally and externally.
- Arrange pre-employment testing.
- Draft contracts and offer letters.
- Send out formal offers of employment.
- Request references and right to work checks.
- Process pre-employment and induction paperwork, ensuring these are sent and returned in a timely manner.
- Liaise with payroll regarding new starters.
- Create reports as and when requested.
- Supporting HR related training programs, workshops and seminars

**The HR Assistant should be able to demonstrate the following**:

- At least 1 years’ previous experience in a HR environment
- Employment law knowledge either through studies or working experience.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in the work place is desirable.
- An organised self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
